President Bola Tinubu has said he will not be deterred by insecurity in the country, insisting he remains committed to seeking a second term in office despite ongoing challenges. Speaking on the issue, the president suggested that political opponents are attempting to exploit the countrys security situation to undermine his leadership. My enemies want to use insecurity in the country to get rid of me, but Im a stubborn politician who refuses to go, and I will campaign for my second term, Tinubu said. His comments come amid continued concerns over security across parts of Nigeria. The remarks have also reignited discussions about Tinubus past stance on security before becoming president. As an opposition figure, he was a vocal critic of previous administrations, particularly on their response to insecurity. He was also a supporter of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign, which gained international attention following the 2014 abduction of schoolgirls in Chibok, Borno State. The Chibok incident took place in the home state of Vice President Kashim Shettima, adding political context to ongoing debates. Watch the video below      View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial) The post My enemies want to use insecurity to get rid of me but I am a stubborn politician and will campaign for my second term – President Bola Tinubu appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
