Senator Ned Nwoko has stirred fresh reactions online after saying he feels sorry for men with just one wife, claiming that polygamy gives men more stability and balance. The Delta North lawmaker made the statement during an interview on Channels Televisions Politics Today on Sunday, October 26, where he was also questioned about the ongoing marital crisis with his actress wife, Regina Daniels. When asked how he manages to handle four wives something most men find nearly impossible Nwoko paused before responding confidently: Thats a different topic for another day. But yes, every man should do that. Imagine telling you to stand on one leg its difficult. But when you stand on two, three, or four, youre more balanced. Thats the example I give. I feel sorry for those who have one wife because its difficult to stand on one leg. When the interviewer pointed out that the Bible doesnt support polygamy, the senator quickly replied, The Old Testament does. Im a man of faith. But thats not what were here for. Asked if he had any regrets about his marital choices, Nwoko firmly said no. No, I dont have any regret. I would do the same thing again. Thats the way it should be you should marry who you want to marry. The senator also denied allegations of domestic violence made against him by Regina Daniels, who recently shared emotional posts suggesting that she had suffered abuse. His comments come just hours after Regina Daniels flaunted a new mansion on Instagram, amid growing reports of separation. The Nollywood actress had shared photos and videos of her new property with the caption: In my house, I am a Queen! I needed a roof over my head, so I got this for me and my family. Her post followed a viral clip from October 18 showing her in tears outside her Abuja home, lamenting that she could no longer endure the alleged violence. In Ned Nwokos house, I am nothing.
