Former UFC star Rampage Jackson has issued a statement after his son, Raja Jackson, brutally attacked professional wrestler Stewart Smith, also known as Syko Stu, during an event. Video of the incident shows Raja Jackson entering the ring at a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event during a match and slamming wrestler Stuart Smith to the mat. Jackson then mounts Smith in the video and punches him almost two dozen times in the face before other wrestlers pull him off. Smith, who seemed to lose consciousness and was not able to try to protect himself from the punches, lay motionless in the ring, blood streaming from his face. The incident reportedly left Smith hospitalised.  In his explanation, Rampage clarified that Smith is awake and stable and addressed how the altercation unfolded. According to him, Raja was unexpectedly struck in the head by Smith moments before the wrestlers match and was told he could get his payback in the ring. “I thought it was part of the show, Rampage said, calling it bad judgment and a work that went wrong. He stressed that Raja, an MMA fighter, had no business being involved in a wrestling event, especially as he had recently suffered a concussion in sparring. I dont condone my sons actions at all, Rampage stated. As a father, Im deeply concerned with his health and the well-being of Mr. Smith. That being said, Im very upset that any of this happened, but my main concern now is that Mr. Smith will make a speedy recovery. I apologize on his behalf and to KICK for the situation.  Raja Jackson himself had earlier said he carried out the attack because he was tired of people playin with him. Watch the video below.  Ive seen pro wrestling thorough out my whole life and this is one of worst things Ive ever seen. I hope Raja Jackson gets life in prison and my thoughts got to Syko Stu. https://t.co/sq6KanR3l3 Nemesis (@SenpaiNemesis__) August 24, 2025   This is what RAJA Rampage Jacksons sonhad to say after almost killing pro wrestler in a match that went wrong after Raja plotted to seriously hurt him pic.twitter.com/i4FTQxxRXD KDENkickclips (@BeatsMarcy) August 24, 2025 The post Former UFC star, Rampage Jackson issues statement after son attacked wrestler Stewart Smith appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
